EA announced that The Sims 4 is under development and will be released in 2014 for PC and Mac.
There are not many info available yet, but they said that it will be an offline experience and that it won’t require a permanent online connection.
We’ll know something more the 23rd of May at 10 AM PDT during the next Sims live broadcast.
Yesterday The Sims team showed the next products during The Sims 3 Live Broadcast.
Below you can see the whole video with a lot of gameplay.
If you don’t have time to see it (it’s more than 40 minutes long), we wrote a summary with all the info they released about The Sims 3 Paradise expansion pack, the next Stuff pack, the next World and some Store items that will be released soon.
The Sims 3 Island Paradise
Mike Zamora showed a lot of gameplay related to Resorts. This next expansion pack is very promising and I really like the fact that there’s a lot of management related to resorts. It’s like a game in the game and it’s great for the people that would like more strategy in Sims games.
Below you can find the main features shown:
- You can own and manage resorts, a new community lot type. They are like home lots and you have to take care of them, as things need to be cleaned and can be broken.
- The front desk lets you manage your resort. It also shows a sort of online review screen where you can see how people are rating your place and check their suggestions. You can also understand what guests think about your resort by checking their bubbles.
- You can build a proper hotel or place different bungalows.
