THE
STORE
The
Store is a place on the official
website where you can buy custom content
for The Sims 3, like furniture sets,
clothes, hairstyles, decorative
objects...
Thanks to a patch released
on December 2009, you can also buy Store
items while playing the game. To do so,
just press F4 and browse the catalog.
SimPoints
Items are sold for
SimPoints. You can buy 1000, 2000 or 4000
SimPoints with a credit card,
Paypal or a SimPoints Card (you can find
it in several stores). With 10-12 Euros
you can buy 1000 SimPoints (the price
depends on your Country).
If you buy
the base game or an expansion pack, you
get 1000 SimPoints for free. To redeem
them, enter My
account page and click on
Redeem a code.
Items
Every month you
can find new
sets. The various items can be
purchased one by one or in a batch (in
this case you'll get a discount).
Furniture sets cost around 1000-2000
SimPoints, hairstyles 100 SimPoints,
clothes 75 SimPoints. Decorative items
are really well dove and cheap. They
cost around 25 SimPoints.
If you
check
discounts page you can see what you
can buy for a very good price.
If you install the
game on another computer or you delete
Store items from the game, just go to
Purchase
History page and download them
again.

Free items are
released from time to time.
